| Alishan Station
Alishan Station is the terminal of the Alishan Forestry Railway, and also the starting point of the Alishan branch lines of Zhushan, Chaoping, and null.
Due to the increasing number of tourists in the 1970s and the insufficient capacity in the Chaoping area, construction started in August 1977 in order to expand the Alishan Forest Recreation Area,
and officially opened on January 11, 1981. To distinguish it from the still in use Chaoping old station, it was then also called "Alishan New Station".
The 921 earthquake in 1999 turned the new station into a dangerous building and it was announced to be closed, and the terminal station of the main line was returned to Chaoping Station.
After 2003, in order to alleviate the operating burden of Chaoping Station, the Forest Conservation Department built a temporary station next to the Alishan garage and rebuilt the new station on the original site after the disaster. The Alishan Station was officially completed and reopened in September 2007.
