| Alishan Station 

Alishan Station is the terminal of the Alishan Forestry Railway, and also the starting point of the Alishan branch lines of Zhushan, Chaoping, and null.
Due to the increasing number of tourists in the 1970s and the insufficient capacity in the Chaoping area, construction started in August 1977 in order to expand the Alishan Forest Recreation Area,
and officially opened on January 11, 1981. To distinguish it from the still in use Chaoping old station, it was then also called "Alishan New Station".
The 921 earthquake in 1999 turned the new station into a dangerous building and it was announced to be closed, and the terminal station of the main line was returned to Chaoping Station.
After 2003, in order to alleviate the operating burden of Chaoping Station, the Forest Conservation Department built a temporary station next to the Alishan garage and rebuilt the new station on the original site after the disaster. The Alishan Station was officially completed and reopened in September 2007.

• Passengers can book a trip within 60 days in advance. If you want to cancel or change the trip, please cancel the original order and re-book before 23:59, 3 days before the travel date. For example, if the reservation date is 4/14, the last date for cancellation and changes is 4/11 at 23:59. If it is overdue, cancellation and refund are not allowed.
• Ticket refund policy: If the forest railway is suspended due to force majeure or its own factors, typhoon day refund conditions: "Tickets for the period from the date of issuance of the typhoon warning on this island until the date of cancellation" can be refunded.
• Please arrive at Chiayi TRA station forest railway dedicated platform on the selected reservation day, present the QR CODE for staff to check and board the train.
• Please take the train according to the actual reservation time and designated seat. The designated seats for this ticket are 2 cars with a total of 23 seats. Please take the seat number provided by the system (do not occupy other seats!)
• Please present the QR code screen proactively when the conductor checks tickets during the journey.
• This ticket includes access to Alishan Forest Recreation Area. If you want to enter and exit the recreation area, please find the ticket seller at the entrance to confirm and get a hand stamp for repeated entry and exit.
