Taiwan PASS Purchase & Usage Regulations
Purchase Eligibility Restrictions: Visitors aged 12 and above must purchase an Adult Ticket; children aged 6-11 must purchase a Child Ticket. Children under 6 years old who do not occupy a seat do not need a ticket; if a seat is required, please purchase a Child Ticket.
Validity Period Explanations (In order of operation):
Pass Activation: The pass must be activated within 1 year from the date of purchase by entering the serial number starting with "85" found in your order voucher into the APP. Example: If you purchase the High Speed Rail Edition on 2026/1/1, you must complete the pass activation in the APP before 2027/1/1 (the APP screen will then display the card on top and the product category list below).
Pass Validity Period:Once any product within the pass is used for the first time (boarding, admission, or exchanging for a physical ticket), all remaining products must be used on-site within 7 days (including the day of first use). Example: If your first selected product is the "Taipei Fun Pass - Transportation 2-Day Pass" and you exchange it for a physical card on 2026/1/3, all other products must be redeemed or used no later than 2026/1/9.
※ To check the actual validity period of your pass, please refer to the "Travel Plan Date": After the first product is used or after electronic vouchers are obtained for certain products, the system will automatically update the validity period, which can no longer be manually changed (e.g., THSR 3-Day Pass, Kaohsiung MRT & Light Rail 2-Day Pass).

In the event of force majeure (such as typhoons, earthquakes, and other natural disasters), the organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the activity, and retains the right to modify, terminate, or change the details of the activity content.
Special Information for THSR 3-Day Pass
Ticket exchange and travel for the THSR ride voucher must be completed within 89 days starting from the date of issue. Train rides can be booked up to 29 days in advance (including the day of travel) and up to 1 hour prior to the train's departure.
After tapping "Get Ticket" in the APP to receive your electronic serial number, please proceed to the Taiwan High Speed Rail Official Website to reserve your train schedule. ※ Train reservations are only available starting from "the day after" you obtain the electronic serial number. (For example, if you claim your electronic serial number on 2026/1/5, you can reserve train schedules from 2026/1/6 onwards.)
Once you have exchanged your electronic serial number for a physical train ticket at a THSR station ticket window, you will no longer be able to modify the schedule using the official website system. If you have any questions, please visit a station window for assistance and changes.
No compensation will be provided, and the validity period will not be extended in the event of special circumstances (train delays, service disruptions, air conditioning failures) or weather-related factors (typhoon warnings) that cause passengers to suspend their travel.
