Taiwan PASS - Taiwan Railway Edition Usage Regulations

Instructions for Use: This combo pass product must be redeemed and used via the Taiwan PASS APP. Please install the dedicated application first: Click here to download the Taiwan PASS APP.

Validity Period Explanations (In order of operation):

1. Pass Activation: The pass must be activated within 1 year from the date of purchase by entering the serial number starting with "85" found in your order voucher into the APP.

Example: If you purchase the Taiwan Railway Edition on 2026/1/1, you must complete the pass activation in the APP before 2027/1/1 (after activation, the APP screen will display the card on top and the product category list below).

2. Pass Validity Period (Varies depending on whether the "first redeemed product is the Taiwan Railway Pass"):

Scenario ➀ The first redeemed product is the physical "TRA TR Pass" ticket card

Once the traveler has obtained the physical TR Pass ticket card, at least 1 non-primary transportation category product must be used (boarding, admission, or exchanging for a physical ticket) within 30 days. Following this, all remaining products must be used within 7 days.

Example: If you redeem your physical ticket card at a designated TR counter on 2026/1/3, you must redeem your second non-primary transportation product (such as a Fun Pass) at a designated location before 2026/2/2. After completing the redemption of the second product, all other remaining products must be used or ridden on-site no later than 2026/2/9.

Scenario ➁ The first redeemed product is "not" the physical TRA TR Pass ticket card

Counted from the day of first use (boarding, admission, or exchanging for a physical ticket), all remaining products must be used on-site within 7 days.

Example: If your first selected product is the "Taipei Fun Pass - Transportation 2-Day Pass" and you exchange it for a physical card at the counter on 2026/1/3, all other products must be used or redeemed on-site no later than 2026/1/9.

In the event of force majeure (such as typhoons, earthquakes, and other natural disasters), the organizer reserves the right to postpone or cancel the activity, and retains the right to modify the details of the activity content.
