Zhuowu Shan Mountain Coffee cultivates using the SL34 variety of Arabica beans. The soil we plant with is golden and brick colored with a clay-like texture. The coffee has floral and fruity notes with a hint of caramel. The top notes are acidic with a full mouth feel, the acidic properties are concentrated after ice with an extra aroma of chocolate and caramel.
We have pioneered the technique of “low-temp river wash coffee beans”, in which the beans are removed of its skin and placed under low-temp river to be cleansed of its impurities. This technique intensifies it’s sweetness and makes the coffee softer on the palette.
Zhuowu Shan Mountain Coffee allocates roughly 6 to 7 hectares of land for coffee plantation. It is located at upwards of 1,200 meters above sea level to give the beans an elevated sweetness, acidity, aroma and flavor. Therefore we have garnered quite a few return and frequent customers.
