Hsing Hsieh Long Tea uses only our own tea in our products , without any forms of mixing. We pride in our quality control, hence we have a steady volume of buyers purchasing teas from us. The estate owner is a guest lecturer at Datong Technical Institute teaching tea culture, simultaneously a class rep for the course on tea production and marketing. He’s frequently a guest judge for tea competitions within Chiayi County, a promoter of Taiwan Tea skills, culture and education.
Hsin Hsieh Long Tea’s black tea is a smooth tea with bridge red hue. It has a mild cinnamon notes, and due to the leaves being bit by small green leafhoppers, the tea obtains a honey-like taste. Foreign tourists often request black tea as their favorite souvenir items. Most black tea producers make their black tea leaves twisted in the Alishan region, we’re the few that make it into pelleted tea buds, which have subsequently become a big selling point for our products.
